Wheeled Extinguishers
In larger premises such as warehouses or factory floors, a wheeled fire extinguisher can deliver more fire-fighting power for longer, yet still be operated by one person.
Wheeled fire extinguishers combine a sturdy trolley with high capacity fire extinguishers, some with external pressure sources, to deliver up to 100 litres of fire-fighting contents quickly and easily.
Types of Wheeled Fire Extinguishers
Powder wheeled fire extinguishers have an external pressure cartridge, that enables the canister to store an impressive 50kg or 100kg of content. Powder extinguishers can extinguish Class A or Class B fires, so are particularly suitable for areas involving the use, storage or transport of fuels, solvent or paints.
Wheeled CO2 fire extinguishers are suitable for large areas of electrical equipment, as CO2 extinguishers can put out fires near live equipment without risk of shocks and with minimal damage. The larger 10kg, 20kg and 45kg capacities provide plenty of CO2 gas when it's needed most, yet can be operated by just one person.
Wheeled foam fire extinguishers are suitable for use on Class A and Class B fires. All stainless steel wheeled foam extinguishers from Essential Fire Safety are delivered pre-filled with foam agent, ready for you to fill with water, thus saving you delivery costs. Marine versions are also available upon request, which all carry the Ship's Wheel mark.
