Wall Fixing Brackets for CO2 Fire Extinguishers
Standard water, foam, powder and hydrospray extinguishers are manufactured with a bracket at the back, which is designed specifically for wall mounting your extinguisher. Our robust J brackets are designed to fit into the extinguisher bracket, and provide a secure fixing for your fire extinguisher.
Wall Fixing Brackets for CO2 Fire Extinguishers
CO2 fire extinguisher wall fixing brackets are a different shape, as these extinguishers hang from their valve fitting, not from an integral bracket.
Our strong fire extinguisher wall fitting brackets do not include fixings for mounting the bracket on a wall, for a very good reason. Fire extinguishers are heavy, and not every wall is capable of sustaining their weight. If you have a sound brick or masonry wall, or even a firm wooden post or beam, with the use of appropriate fixings, your extinguisher will hang the required 1 metre off the ground with ease. However, modern office plasterboard or cavity walls are not suitable for hanging fire extinguishers, so you should use a fire extinguisher floor stand instead.
