Vehicle Brackets
Transport brackets are essential for securing fire extinguishers in place in your truck, lorry, minibus or van, or even in your own car.
Transport brackets need to hold your fire extinguisher securely during the ups and downs of modern travel, and also to release the extinguisher quickly when you need it most. Our non-CO2 fire extinguisher transport brackets combine the strength of a metal frame and the convenience of webbing straps fastened by a plastic buckle. Simply tighten the straps to secure the fire extinguisher, and unclip the buckle to release it.
The standard transport bracket can hold any weight of fire extinguisher (except CO2) from 3kg to 12 kg. (We recommend the heavy duty dual strap version for the heavier weights of extinguishers.) CO2 extinguishers are a different shape to water, foam and powder extinguishers, so require our special CO2 transport bracket to hold them in place.
For smaller weights of fire extinguishers, either 1kg or 2kg, our stainless steel transport strap is strong and will not rust. It is ideal for securing car fire extinguishers in your vehicle, and access is easy with the quick-release clip. This clip will also hold a fire extinguisher firmly in your speed boat or yacht, where standard brackets will work loose and not remain tight.
