Designed to operate at 57 degrees Centigrade, a heat detector will not cause nuisance alarms from burnt toast and steam. It will interconnect with up to 23 other Kidde mains alarms and fitting could not be easier. Fully conforming to BS5839-pt6 Grade D, this alarm has a 6-year warranty but remember to have ionisation and/or optical alarms in the house, too. A hush and test button are standard and the battery is included.

 

Heat alarms are suitable for kitchens, garage and dusty rooms - a house should also have a combination of optical and ionisation
