Our standpipe is designed to fit standard UK Fire Brigade hydrants. It is manufactured in quality alloy with a standard UK 2.5" female BSRT inlet and a female outlet. The double headed version uses the same base section but with the double head and can be used as a single headed satndpipe by inserting the blank plug that is included.
Both the single and double head standpipes can be supplied with a brass non-return (double check) valve to BS6282 Part 5 so please check the options. This is required where using the drinking water main or where Water Boards demand it
