For most homes, the economy fire blanket is all that is needed. BSi Kitemarked to to BS EN 1869:1997 (this standard replaced BS 6575 over 10 years ago - although most Councils do not seem to know) and measuring 1 metre x 1 metre, this fire blanket is safe to put out any kitchen mishaps. You should never use a domestic fire extinguisher on a chip pan fire but this blanket will do the job.
